Community at Franklin
At Franklin we value the strong connection we have with our students, school families and the wider community. Staff at Franklin work to continually build and improve upon the partnerships we have with our community, local businesses and services that help us support the community and improve educational outcomes for all our students.
Programs and groups for our students and families are run in our designated community room and examples of these include playgroup, wellbeing groups for students, Circe of Security Parenting Program, Tuning into Kids Parenting Program and community get togethers. For more information on the community room schedule, please contact the school or speak to the Community Coordinator.
With a strong focus on wellbeing for both students and families we work with partner organisations to provide relevant programs and services supporting the identified needs of our community. Partnership organisations help needs such as targeted literacy support, wellbeing programs for students and many others. Our partner organisations include: Libraries ACT, ACT Playgroup, and Story Dogs ACT.
